Yucca Chiu

Yucca holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Performance and Pedagogy from the Hong Kong Baptist University, an ATCL Performance Diploma in Pianoforte from the Trinity College of Music, London.  She has extensive experience in teaching the piano for more than 25 years. 

Overall, Yucca is an experienced teacher well versed in both solo and collaborative performance. She performs as a choral conductor for school and church choirs; an piano accompanist for ballet school examination classes, and also a piano soloist at various recitals and ceremonies. 

Besides teaching, to gain more teaching ideas, Ms Yucca also participates in masterclasses with notable musicians. Her students attained awards from music festivals and excellent results from RCM examinations:

2019 - North York Music Festival, Level 6 ~ 2nd Place

2016 - RCM First Class Honours with Distinction, Level 2 Piano ~ 91%

2015 - North York Music Festival, 1st Place & 2nd Place
