Ying Ho

Ying is a drummer with over nine years of experience, including six years performing in a Hong Kong-based Loud Rock / Metalcore band, where she recorded and released five original songs, as well as two years of experience as a session drummer for various singer-songwriters across the GTA. Influenced by genres ranging from Pop and Rock to Folk and Heavy Metal, she brings versatility, creativity, and real live performance experience to her teaching.

Having performed on stages in both Hong Kong and Toronto, Ying is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong rhythm, coordination, and technique, while exploring different musical styles through song learning. With years of band experience, one of Ying’s strengths is teaching composition and arrangement, helping students understand how drum parts fit within a full band setting. Whether a student is preparing for exams, performing on stage, or simply learning for personal enjoyment, Ying tailors each lesson to support their individual goals.
