Stephen Ho

M.A., B.A., LTCL
(Piano | Voice)

Stephen is an experienced and well-rounded musician. He graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theory/Composition, a Master of Arts in Music Education, and obtained the Licentiate Performer’s Diploma (LTCL) in piano from the Trinity College of Music in London. He is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Association (ORMTA) and the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Associations (CFMTA). His philosophy is to teach according to each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses, recognizing that everyone has different abilities in different areas. Stephen helps his students develop and refine their strengths to aim at perfection, while encouraging and assisting them to overcome their weaknesses.


He had been teaching at the Music Office of the Hong Kong Government for 20 years where he taught musicianship, aural and theory, singing classes from elementary to advanced levels. He was the conductor/accompanist/manager the Music Office Youth Choir and Children’s Choir.He also appeared as a vocal soloist in different events, and was invited to be adjudicator of different music competitions.


As the music director of St. Agnes Tsao Choir, he brought his choir to perform the musical medley of “The Phantom of the Opera”, “West Side Stories”, “Les Miserables”, etc... He is now a piano and vocal teacher at Pro-Music Conservatory of Music, Maestro Music Centre and Toronto Treble Voices.



Stephen’s students attained awards from various music festivals:

2015 - The Kiwanis Music Festival, Piano Grade 2 ~ 1st Award | Grade 9 ~ 1st Award | Grade 10 ~ 3rd Award | Grade 6 ~ 3rd Award
