Queenie is a versatile musician and dedicated music educator based in the Greater Toronto Area. She is an accomplished pianist and flutist with extensive performance experience, alongside a strong commitment to early childhood and school-age music education.

As a musician, Queenie received professional flute training from Timothy Wilson, former Principal Flute of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and Brian Chan, flutist and piccoloist of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. She actively performs as a flutist with the Northdale Concert Band and Richmond Hill Concert Band and has appeared regularly in concerts and private events throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Previously, she served as a resident flutist and pianist at luxury venues including Island Shangri-La and the Hong Kong Club, and has performed at weddings, ceremonies, and corporate functions. Her musical development has been further enriched through masterclasses with Sir James Galway, Susan Milan, and Birgit Ramsl-Gaal.

Beyond performance, Queenie is deeply devoted to music education. She currently serves as Music Director at Tiny Hoppers Daycare (Etobicoke) and East Vaughan Montessori School, where she designs and implements comprehensive music curricula tailored to early childhood and elementary learners. She also organizes after-school music programs and student recitals, including performances held at the Steinway Piano Gallery Toronto. Queenie strongly believes that frequent stage experience fosters confidence, musical growth, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. Her teaching approach emphasizes individualized instruction, with learning materials carefully adapted to each student’s personality, learning style, and developmental needs.

Queenie is a qualified Early Childhood Educator and earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education after the birth of her child. She is passionate about working with young children in kindergarten and childcare settings and is highly regarded for her parent-and-toddler music programs, which integrate musical exploration, movement, and early developmental principles.

In addition to her work in music and education, Queenie is an experienced graphic designer and exhibitor. She co-wrote the animation featured in the Nutcracker x Dustykid concert and has designed concert posters and corporate logos, receiving strong professional recognition for her creative work.
