Angel Sherry Liang
B.Mus.Ed. (Violin)
Angel started playing piano at the age of 8 and violin at the age of 12. Obtaining her RCM exam certificates, Angel decided to continue pursuing music to promote and develop more of her skills. Angel graduated from Western University holding a Music Education bachelors degree specializing in Violin. She has gotten extensive training from Mel Martin during her time in University, and from Ken Qian Ming Zheng while in Toronto. While in Toronto, Angel was the concert master assistant in the OCMS-YO. Angel has played both piano and violin for over a decade and fell in love with her instruments and classical music. Through her passion, she has grown her love to teach.
Depending on the students’ wants and needs, she is able to cater to them through developing an understanding relationship and the necessary skills that can be transferred outside of music learning. By providing a safe learning environment, Angel hopes and encourages her students to be able to express themselves and to one day become educators for the future generations. Currently, Angel is enrolled in obtaining her teaching certificates through RCM to further strengthen and solidify her knowledge in music teaching.
