Shelby Liu

Shelby Liu is an award-winning pianist and music educator with over 20 years of musical training and performance experience.

She is the Winner of the 2015 Asia International Music Competition and has performed extensively throughout North America.

Shelby earned a full-scholarship Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she studied under renowned pianist Dr. James Winn. She received her Bachelor's degree from National Taiwan Normal University, studying with Professor Wang Chieh-Chen (王杰珍), and furthered her musical training at The Central Conservatory of Music under distinguished educator Professor Li Chi-Fang (李其芳).

In addition to her performance career, Shelby has college-level teaching experience in piano, vocal coaching, and musical theatre. She works with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop strong technique, musical artistry, and confidence in a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
