Jiyeon is a classically trained violinist and experienced educator with over two decades of professional engagement in performance and teaching. She received her training under esteemed violinists Ray Dotoratos, Kyung Ae Kim, and Gisèle Dalbec, and has since established a multifaceted career as both performer and pedagogue.

She has appeared with numerous distinguished ensembles and orchestras, including the Boheme Chamber Ensemble, Ars Nova Ensemble, Seoul Orchestra, Tongyeong International Music Festival Ensemble, and Bohemian Soloists. Her work spans a wide range of repertoire, with a particular focus on chamber music.

As an educator, Jiyeon is committed to fostering both technical excellence and artistic expression. Drawing on her background in psychology, she adopts a holistic, student-centered approach—tailoring instruction to meet the unique needs and goals of each learner. Her teaching emphasizes both disciplined musicianship and the intrinsic joy of music-making.
